I had the so-lo and bottomed out constantly. Went with the Draggin baggers air-ride and ruined 2 wiring harnesses. Guess ledgends air ride is all that is left!!

Call the folks a Works Performance. They will build you a set of shocks that will greatly improve the ride as well as give you the lowering you want without bottoming out. They will want your weight, passenger weight and percentage of time you ride 2 up. Be sure and tell them how much you want to lower your seat.

I have had the RUB 2.5" lowering kit on my '05 Ultra for two seasons.
At 21# air, I hardly ever bottom out - and I am a fat a$$ at 260#.
2 up and 35# (SO is 225#) we rarely bottom out on the big dips.
Just my experiences.
