I had the so-lo and bottomed out constantly. Went with the Draggin baggers air-ride and ruined 2 wiring harnesses. Guess ledgends air ride is all that is left!!
Im short, I need the lower stance. I think with a RUB kit keeping the factory shocks I will be able to retain a portion of that stock ride. WE will see.
If it's a question of being short and needing a lower stance, buy yourself a good pair of Chippewa logger style boots with a thicker sole and higher heel. Solved my stance problem.
Call the folks a Works Performance. They will build you a set of shocks that will greatly improve the ride as well as give you the lowering you want without bottoming out. They will want your weight, passenger weight and percentage of time you ride 2 up. Be sure and tell them how much you want to lower your seat.
