Default Power Vision Cure?

Got the power vision today. I loaded a preloaded tune for my new pipes and stage 1. It had 2 versions for my setup, one race and one economy, I chose the economy one. Only able to putt around the neighborhood so far, a few miles at most.
Findings so far with this tune were alot less flat spots and a little less popping.
This thing does alot!!!! wish I had a little more instructions

Hey bozo,

Did you receive the user manual on a CD? If not, you can download a copy from DynoJet's web site. Read it through thoroughly and you will have a better understanding of how it works, what it does and how to fine tune your tune.

I just installed my PV a couple weeks ago and am still learning. I'm working on using the log tuner, which you can use to tailor your tune to your bike.

Sounds like you didn't purchase from FuelMoto (a favorite vendor around here-for good reason-with great support), but you could contact DynoJet with questions.

I'm learning as I go along, as the learning curve is a bit steep for someone like me with no prior experience with tuners (other than plug and play) and considering all that the PV does. Again, the manual is very helpful.

There's also a PV Sticky in the Tech Forum under the Electrial/Ignition/Tuner/ECM/Fuel Injection Forum. It's not exactly organized, but should be helpful.

Good luck.

Guys, go to the Power Vision Sticky under fuel injection section. JustDennis has developed a great user guide that will get you going on tuning. Quick read. Good luck, best tuner on the market currently from a capability/ease of use perspective.

Thanks for the info!!!! I did get the unit from FuelMoto with a disc. I slowed down and read up on what I should have done and rectified it. I loaded the tune sent from FM. It performed real close to the tune I loaded off a list. This thing is probably way more than I'll ever need, but it's already done what I wanted it to do. The bike is once again 100% pleasure to ride 100% of the time.....with less than 50 miles on it thus far. I learn alot each short ride thus far. And now I have a tach:-)

Glad to hear it's easy to use. I've been reading threads that make my head spin.

It's as difficult as you want it to be. You can load your tune and go, or you can 'tinker' to your hearts content.

Have fun

Sounds like your using the Dyno Jet MAPs that are loaded on the PV, They are better than your stock set up but over all they dont run anywhere as well as the custom MAPs that Jamie at Fuel Moto woulded in the "Custom Tune" section .

I tried the Dyno Jet MAPs against what I got from FM and found that the overall file size is about 1/2 of a Custom MAP and I had a lot more popping and the milage was not as good. Stick with the MAP from Fuel Moto and if its not perfect to you email Fuel Moto andJamie will make adjustments and e mail back

If you want info on its use read the PV thread on here in the ECM section and learn how to data map and self tune and your bike will really wake up. There is a hugh thread on PV use

Contact Jamie and he will walk you through logging your bikes actual run readings.
He will ask for three 20-30 minute log files and then build a custom caibration for you.
DynoJet's calibrations are lame.
The economy tune is very close to stock and the performance tune is kind of fierce for lightly modified stage one engines.
