Yep, definitely a dealer fix in your case. When warped rotors are improperly turned they'll vibrate so mech. (or weekend cleaning boy) probably machined, but didn't check trueness/thickness. Also, yours might be beyond min. spec. so dealer was probably hoping/wanting to save a buck. I bet you'll need new rotors...dealer's dime.
It could be a safety issue, the dealer really should address this, you pointed it out to them prior to the sale, so they can't say you caused it in any way.
Request (demand) new rotors and pads, and make sure calipers are not dragging.
Turning the rotors might patch it for a little while, but the problem will almost surely resurface in short a time.
Sounds likes it's definetly a rotor problem. I would just tell dealer to replace them. either with new, or I would a dealer of any size would have a few take off's from putting on custom rotor's. the cost of new for a dealer can't be very much
