Default Front Lower Engine Rubber Mount

My 05 Harley Ultra has 120,000 miles on it and I was wondering if any of you guys out there have ever replaced the lower front rubber motor mount that sits underneath the oil filter?

Sometimes my motor seems like it shakes more than it should. THe dealership has indicated to me that they have never replaced one before. I think they are like any other part and have a limited life expectancy.

Thanks

Check Glide-pro.com they have a video showing how to install their rubber mount. Pretty easy to do. I just replaced mine with with Glide pro. 2006 ultra with 15000 miles on it and the old mount had a split in upper half of the mount when I took it out. The guys on the site here says I have to break it in. But really surprised that old mount was bad.

Anything made of rubber has a finite life. The older rubber gets, the harder and more brittle it gets. Order the new mounts and see if you can do it yourself. At least once they are changed out and torqued properly, you will have eliminated them as the source if the vibrations still exist.
