EBay is losing my money, I think if you got feedback for the items I purchased and sold on this forum I would have a respectable #. Never had a bad transaction yet. Items as described and great prices. Hope the wife doesn't see this, she thinks I have just been staying off EBay! :v)
I like to do my own maintenance and upgrades too. Have a good lift and enough tools to make it happen. Not in a hurry to mod a bike I brought home 6 days ago but it will happen!!
Just ordered my Pitbull Jack and service manual so I can start saving money doing mods myself.
Already upgraded my stereo. Going to be doing cams and maybe Fuel MOTO's 107" kit...
Phase 7 headlight, cycle vision eliminator, Ohlins 3-3's...
Haven't decided between monotubes for the front or Ricor Intimidators and Racetech springs...
WHERE DOES IT END????
lol. I share your pain brother.....I have always know when my bike will be complted when I get a pop-up on my computer:
I really saved a lot of money on this forum and prevented spending a lot on things that would have been mistakes. Much good advice from members and some real deals. That being said, I've spent so much on the bike I cringe when I try and add it up. Paint, exhaust, wheels and tires, stage one, headlight, Bright *** tail lite with Harley run stop turner, Mustang seat, chrome controls and brake, floating roto, Pitbull jack, grips, extended brake pedal, front and back guards, and a dozen things I can't even recall now.
I don't need this forum to go broke...........I have kids.
My kids weren't too bad... it's the grandkids!!! 12 birthdays a year + holidays.... etc..... it's a killer... and before my kids were old enough to have kids, I had no money for a bike... but, ridin' box stock was better than not...
When I bought my new bike, I thought it was all set ready to go. I was unaware that a brand new Harley had subpar components and needed to be upgraded at once! I took the bait. Now after doing a stage 1 (I didn't know what a stage one was before I got on this forum) stereo upgrade, headlights, center stand, etc. I am closing in on broke. I like doing the customizing now. It's weird. I had a BMW for 25 years. All I did was oil, rubber, battery and was satisfied. I guess I am a sheep. ....nah......
