Carburetor Identification
Have a '94 Electra Glide that I bought at a dealer used. Since then my throttle cable has broken twice. It doesn't have the stock carb on it cuz the stock throttle cable didn't fit at all. I got an S&S cable from the dealer and still had to modify it to work. Is there an EASY way to identify what Make & Model of Carb I have on my bike without tearing it apart? I need to know cuz I now have to lean out my carb after making my exhaust a true dual exhaust. Runs so rich now I am only getting about 26 mpg..
can barely get 140 miles before I have to hit reserve..
Any help is appreciated.

Remove the air cleaner and take a couple photos and post them. It could possibly be a CV carb which were sometimes swapped onto older bikes. It has a black plastic or chrome "lid" on the top, about 3 inches or so in diameter held on with 4 Phillips head screws.
Should have come with the CV as stock (1990+ carb'd Big Twins).
Common carb swaps are Mikuni and S&S. Usually it will say right on the side the brand name along with a serial number somewhere.
I agree, pictures would be tremendously helpful.
