Default lean condition

I have 07 ultra.I noticed lately that every time i shift to 6th gear(hwy riding)the bike vibrate alot seems like i'm lagging
engine though i'm running 70-90mph and only shift to 6th when i hit 70 mph.kinda less above 90mph +
Could this be lean condition????seems like the gas is starving. Also i don't have this vib on any gears except 6th would a pc3 fix this??
Mod to the bike are se ac se slipon and download and will get pc3 soon.

thanks alot

Yes a PC111 would help this condition. The 06 models run extremlylean from the factory. We have worked on a few resolved the issue by either a PC111 or Dyno Tuning to eliminate the lean condition.
May also consider an upgrade to an Arlen Ness Big Sucker air cleaner at the same time.

Have you had the latest recall download done? That cured the issues on mine!

In that case, maybe a tuner and parts would do it, but reading your orig. post sounds like yours may possibly have a mech. or ECMdefect that a good tech should hunt for first. ??

Well, it sounds a bit like at the high speeds you mentioned that the on-board computer set engine control parameters (in the ECM) might be faulty, and the dealer's or other good tech can check that vs. the factory specs. Then,a mechanical problem, if that were it, could be anything from the fuel injection to valves/valve trainto ignition voltage, quite a few things could be ker-whacky right from the factory. Maybe the tuner you will purchase willfix it for you... just sounded a bit like you may have a basic engine problem. And some other forum members have wrenched more on the modern systems than I have and may steer you elsewhere too.[quote]ORIGINAL: 03WG
