I am wanting to get an intercom system for my girlfriend & I for longer trips on my RK Police and have a few questions hopefully you all can help me with. As always, any help is greatly appreciated.
1. Will the Nady PMC-2X system work with 1/2 helmets?
2. Anyone use(d) the Fire Fox Fox Talk system w/ throats mics & earpiece? It seems like that may work better with our helmets.
3. Any other suggestions about other intercom systems?
A friend of mine uses the fire fox thoat mic on his sport bike and said it works good for him, I went with the Autocom active-duo 200 and it is great, cost more but worth it to me.
Grover, Are you using FRS/GMRS or a CB with your autocom setup?
I have an Autocom SuperPro AVi and a CB. I'm having a problem with squeal or feed back when I hit the push to talk and/or when PTT is on. I hear it and so do the riders in my group with CB's.
Did you (or anyone out there) experience anything like that with your unit? If so, how did you resolve?
I can tell you the sound for listening is great and when the PTT is working it works great.
