Had a great time with it. All of 3 hours.
Pulled into the driveway and the Clutch Cable snapped.
Called HD dealer and they are picking it up tomorrow morning to take it back the shop so they can replace it.
I thought that the clutch started feeling tighter as I rode home. Go figure.
May have snapped from lack of lube. I would check the throttle cables just in case. They are more work to lube so if the clutch was missed ...........
Nice clean looking scoot Good Luck with it.
Be sure and read the SM before removing the front brake handle or you more than likely will end up buying a $50 brake light switch.
Nice ride. Just sucks the cable broke but at least it should be a quick fix. Hopefully the dealer gets it in/out fast so you can start racking up the miles.
congrats on the new bike--and I agree you should lube your other cables. I haven't broken a clutch cable since my shovelhead days, when I never left home without a spare. In those days, when I felt the roughness/stiffness in the clutch, I started planning my next stop, since I knew I'd only have about three more pulls on the handle. (just an old guy reminiscing-- I miss kick starters, too!)
