if you are talking about the road king custom, which they stopped making in 07, then yes. they do have the shortest shocks. if you are talking about the road king classic, that bike comes with the stock 13'' shocks. street glides, road glide customs, and the old road king customs come with 12'' shocks.

I think you'll have to go with something like this... or a combo of lower suspension and this

I believe the reduced reach seat is lower than the sundowner. Lowering the bike is an option. A lowering kit for the rear is the least expensive and still maintains the ride quality, but you may experience bottoming out on large bumps.
Aftermarket shocks/springs are more expensive but may also improve handling and ride quality.

Or you can try picking your feet up.

You could always pick up a set of Street Glide shocks and bolt them onto your Road King. SG shocks are 12 inch eyelet to eyelet while the Road King shocks are 13 inch. This would get you an extra inch and is a really easy job.

I put hd gas shocks on mine and lowered it and improved ride part number 54680-10. Worth the cash in my humble opinion
