The jiffy stand extension was one of the best mods that has been done to my bike! I bought the Harley kit -I had a hell of a time with the OEM set-up

I vote for MCC too. They can lower your seat 3" if you want for less than $100 plus put in memory foam too boot. Add memory foam for the ol and seat heaters front and back and it's still under $500. Sme of the best mods I've done.

I understand that playing with suspension got is tole but I can't see another way.

So what is in your opinion the best way to achieve while less compromising comfort ?

On my Ultra Classic:
1) Shorter rear shocks.
2) Lowered monotubes up front (best mode I've done)
3) Modified MCC seat.

I put the Road6 lowering kit with good success....do an ebay search (road6 customs lowering kit). As long as you dont go too lower ( kit will lower up to 3") it does the trick well with RKs, not so much on SGs or RGs.

Put shorter shocks on it. I hate the stock air shocks but the premium touring ones are pretty good...

This system will get you a 3 inch drop while keeping the stock suspension. It can only be installed at HD dealers that are set up and trained to do the job. Not many are set up to do this yet, but I know that Kutter HD in Janesville, WI is.

A friend at work with short legs went with this system on his 2010 SG and LOVE's it.
