Horn on my 08 crapped out today, $45.00 for a new one at HD. Anyone use a nice after market horn instead of the HD horn?Or should i just buy the HD horn?
You get two horns, one price. Take the stickers off, paint. I painted mine with black roll bar spray paint from advance auto.
Mount them both on the stock stud with stock nut, piggyback one off the other in parallel, uses the stock wiring...took me 5 minutes to mount
They are REALLY LOUD
So you do get two horns??? I went to the link you supplied and wasn't sure that i would be getting two. ??? Did you know that you were getting two or did the pkg. just show up and two were in it? I didn't know how to ask that on Amazon. Thanks for the option to the HD horn.
You can find many other horns that fit for less $ than the HD.
If you go with 2 horns, get different tones - High/Low.
I have been checking out 6 volt horns, wired in series they scream bloody murder...
