Live in a condo complex with no garage, so I park the bike covered on the patio. It's either that or don't have one, I choose the patio. Seen some of the bike bubble storage covers on the net, but none for outdoor use. Anyone attempt making a homemade cover? I've been toying with the idea of 1/2 - 3/4 PVC, or maybe a small pup tent. Just looking for ideas or other options.
Can you park a trailer in the lot ? I had the same problem and bought a enclosed trailer. I used it as a garage for years. I put it on jack stands and rode in and out with out issue.
Many people of my friends try the cover route but all of them had weather damage.
My buddy has an enclosed trailer that he tows his bikes in on occasion behind his motor home.
The trailer has exposed metal on the interior it has wood 4'up the wall then the exposed metal. The exposed metal condensates in the cold.... he had some clean up to do on his bike this Spring when he took his bike out of the trailer.....
I have one of those bubbles and they work great outside under a carport. Put my 06 Ultra in it last June (had a operation)and just pulled it out April 1st and it was dust free.
