I am thinking of adding some better lighting to my bike, for those of you that have done it do you recommend plasma rods or should i do the led clusters? don't really want to spend the money to do both and i also did the tri bar light upgrade from Harley. What do you think?? Thanks Kevin
Plus 1 on Custom Dynamics.
I just complete LED turn signals, tail light and front/rear fender tip light upgrade with magic strobe from Custom Dynamics. Went with Clear turn signal lenses and red tail light. Looks great. I have done 3 of my other bikes with LED's from Custom Dynamics and would highly recommend them.
Plasma rods...I have been looking at them close. Anything Custom Dynamics sales is good stuff. I have yet to see a set of plasma rods in person. But they look a little off color to me...I like all my reds or ambers to match on the back of my bike. Don't want cherry red mixed with an off color red. If I could ever see a set in person, this may seal the deal for me to make the purchase.
If you are looking for better lighting and limited to one or the other... replace your bulbs with LED's first. Plasma Rods are nice but aren't very well seen during the day IMO.
Went with the run, stop, tail assy. from HD and led light and plazma rods from Custom Dynamics..Lights are bright in the daytime and are always getting good comments from riders. I like the idea of having good lighting in the rear.
Custom Dynamics is a great company to buy from.
PS. All the lights are the same color.
