Default 05 electa glide stalling

05 electra glide classic. bike is stock other than exhaust. here's my problem, let me know if you have any ideas:
  • riding yesterday in 55F sunny weather
  • 30-minutes into the ride so definitely warmed up
  • 65mph on cruise
  • engine stalls, coasted to shoulder
  • switched 'run' button off then on,
  • bike starts, then stalls again after about 5-sec.
  • switch ignition off then on, bike starts again and stays running
  • rode another hour on highway then in town, problem did not repeat

Some possibles:

Faulty ignition switch (contacts in the rear have issues because of heat)
Faulty run/kill switch

What Dawg said!
I hate to assume, but is replacement the only option for repair, or can the contacts be accessed for cleaning?
