Once you make your decision about the height then my advice is to go 2" taller. You will wish you had later. I started out wanting 10"s. I went with 12"s. If I were doing it today I would go with 14"s or maybe 16"s. The 12"s are comfortable and look good but....
I went with Magnum Sterling Chromite cables. I went with a +8 Clutch (+6 would have worked fine) and a +6 upper brake line. With the Magnum lines there is an upper and a mid line. I'm 5'10" and you can see where my hand position is on my sig pic. I have other pics in my profile. I did not extend wires. I just rerouted the plugs under the radio. I have the bars pushed as far forward as they will go in the pic. I've since rocked them back a bit so they are about 1/4" - 1/2" lower.
Ok, I decided on 12" MBB, and finally figured out the clutch cable.
Barnett cable 68" is +6... part# 101301004606
J&P part # 521-213
I will also try to get by with just re-routing wiring harness.
Now I just need to figure out brake lines. Its a '10 SG, so from what I understand I have to buy a whole upper line with a "T" and the 2 lower lines. Is that correct?
