Kinda seems like quality is really suffering in the 12 bikes. Voltage regulators, limp mode, crap falling off the bike, oil leaks and on and on. Makes you wonder what the hell is going on.
Is it just me or does there seem to be an abundant amount of problems with the 12 bikes? Glad I bought a left over 11.
You got me confused, you bought an '11, but it seems to you there are an abundant amount of problems with '12s? My guess is you are reading the forum stuff and not getting accurate data from the complete sampling of HD owners? The forum is going to be biased, for instance, I have never had a problem with my '12, or my '08 for that matter, but I read on here every day of people who do, or at least think they do, but I have never posted about all the good experiences I have had. I am sure most happy '12 owners aren't posting their happiness either. How many times do people bitch about a restaurant's poor service, yet never go out of their way to compliment good service? It's the same thing here .............

What are you confused about? True, I didn't have a chance to call all the 2012 owners. But when I hear things like 12 bike's sitting on the show room because they pulled the voltage regulators off to fix customers bike's makes me wonder. By the way, Fogo De Chao restaurant in Kansas City is awesome.

Thanks for the restaurant recommendation, I do get to KC sometimes for work. You guys have the best BBQ, something I don't get to appreciate up here in the north. No, I was just sayin', there is a lot of negativity on the forums, but I think a lot of it is because of the restaurant example I gave. People are inherently quick to bitch, not to praise. It is just the nature of our being. No difference than the news, it's mostly gloom and doom, if we only got our information from the news, we would all believe the world is coming to an end. Ok, yeah, I know it is too, but you know what I mean, haha!
Mine's been great, not a problem one, just got back from a 200 mile ride. I don't put a lot of faith in anything I read on the WWW. Some of the crap I have read on this forum makes me wonder why some of these folks bought motorcycles in general let alone Harley Davidson's.
