Black tipped CFRs? Oh yeah.

u have that powder coated? or did CFR make them like that?

 

CFR is local so I just took them down there and had them install the scalloped black tips.

 

Besides http://www.ironacesspeedshop.com/ and directharleyparts does anyone recommend anywhere else to pick up CFR's? Tried calling direct harley for a price but they appear to be closed on weekends.

I know to go to You Tube and have but not too many have their complete set up like these guys have said and also most are stock headers from what I can tell or the vids are of Paul Yaffe doing "custom" CFR slip ons. I was hoping, as was one or two others on here that requested it, to hear the setups as they listed so I would have a real idea of how the specific set up sounded like. Thanks for your suggestion tho

 

I have someone coming by to pick up some V&H Power Duals and CFRs. I will try to do a video after installation so you can hear them with those headers. I believe they are being installed on a 12 FLHX,
hopefully next week.
