No doubt that the CFRs sound great, but how about running down the road are use still able to hear your radio? I just might have a set of practically new Rienharts for sale.
In some of the previous posts it's been mentioned that the CFRs can give you fits when trying to tune the bike. In talking with Direct Harley Parts today, they said that was an issue with the older units, the newer ones are fine and present no problems. Any comments on this?
Well, ...a buddy came over today and helped me install my new Screamin Eagle Agitator setup on front of the bike, I started it up and he also has a set of Rienharts for sale now.....I am going to hook him up with Direct Harley Parts soon....
The bike is very deep sounding with little to med throttle, and cruising is not bad at all to me, if you wind it up hard past 3000 RPM, the fun begins and that deep pipe lets you know who is the boss... I love it and no one has it yet hardly in my area....
One of the guys from Dynojet run CFR's and gave me a tune to run. Seems to do really great with no backfiring and for a MAP Tune it will do till we get to the dyno hopefully next week if he can sneak me in.....

I had talked with Carry Faas directly and he stated the same thing. He said he added an extra set of flairs in the baffling to help back pressure which I could see when I got them.
They are WAY quieter than my old Bub 7,s. Hopefully they will wake up when I get the intake/cams/duals installed. Right now with stock bike they have a nice DEEP rumble at idle and mellow way out at cruising speed.
@Direct Cycle Parts
When will the CFR slip on be available again?
Do you ship to Malaysia?
Thank you
Hey buddy,apparently CFRs seems to be very sought after.I managed to get mine(black non fluted) a couple of months ago.One thing though you're gonna pay some serious bucks to our local customs for these pipes.
