i have only had two half helmets. the first said harley on it and had a visor. it was huge and always felt the strap chocking me. the daytona has fit me better and lost the visor making it more comfortable. for the money it was a better choice and stepping stone to a much smaller future lid.
+1 on the Super Seer. Bought one last year. Only helmet I've had that I actually wear. Pretty spendy but by far the most comfortable for me without the mushroom thing going on.
I gotta agree with yellowted about the Daytona, and disagree with Scudda about the Skid Lid --- for me anyway. Got my Skid Lid last week, and sent it back the next day. Mushroom, bobble-head fitting on me like any other goofy DOT helmet. Daytona fits alot better, but I need to order a size bigger just to make sure. Daytona looked the least "DOT goofy" and it's really lightweight too.
