I'm looking to buy a half helmet for my trip on memorial day. I am looking for info on the smallest beanie type helmet i can find thats cumfy. Any suggestions? My friend bought a german type helmet from ebay and that thing was complete junk.
I suggest a DOT approved half helmet. Much better protection. Once you start wearing a half you will never go back to a full, so be sure and get a model that has the zip on ear warmers. It wraps around your head and ears for a little added warmth in colder weather.
Got one of these being delivered next Monday, took four weeks to make. Each one is hand made when ordered. Carbon Fiber & Kevlar. They have DOT too if thats what you want.
I recently purchased an Outlaw half helmet from LeatherUp.com.....
These are DOT approved (if that matters any), and mine is
comfortable on my odd shaped melon.
Does not have the "bobble-wobble head" action going on.....
