Hey, I've got the wiring harness installed, intercom, bike to bike cb module=
, iPod interface, rear speaker pods on a detachable tour pak etc. I'm only h=
aving problems with the 3 position toggle speaker selector switch that came w=
ith the intercom kit. I have a 2011 street glide *could you please save me!!=
! *I don't know where the four wires go!! *I can't find any of them color co=
ded with other existing wires. I thought they would splice into the intercon=
nect on the wiring harness. Help please!!
Is the 12 pin the interconnect on the harness and do you start at the top left and count over 1-6 then bottom 7-12 or three rows 1-4 top row 5-8 second row 9-12 third row? I can't remember what it looked like!! What did the 12 pin plug into?

In order to remove the fairing cap to install the speaker selector switch, it's necessary to separate the black, 12-wire connector; one side of the 12-wire connector stays with the fairing cap--it's this part that the wires are inserted into and the numbers of the chambers for the wires are embossed in the black plastic sufficiently to identify where the wires go.
I confess to being somewhat skeptical about the genuineness of your enquiry since it's obvious that the speaker switch goes in the fairing cap and the speaker switch wires aren't nearly long enough to reach inside the fairing; and, more directly, when removing the fairing cap it's necessary to separate the connector used by the speaker switch--so I don't see how you could be confused about which connector is used for the speaker selection switch.
If your enquiry is genuine, then I wish you could luck with the rest of your project and regret suggesting the your enquiry was otherwise.
Carl thanks. I never removed the fairing cap. I was capable of removing the two side screws and removing the two unused switch bracket then installing the switch. I'm guessing now of I would have removed the whole fairing cap to have easily installed the switch this would have made more sense!! Thanks.
Carl thanks for the help. The three wires were not a problem. Has to splice into 12. It worked and is back together. Didn't take 15 minutes with your help. Thanks.
