Anyone using them with a stock oil pump and Baisley spring? I still have more valve clatter than I like and was wondering if the Fueling lifters would be a good choice to lessen the noise. Thanks.....
wnogood, I,ll be in Madison for the next month, I would like to hear your bike compared to mine. I have complained since new about lifter noise. I,m staying at Federal Square.
[:@]My opinon on Fueling is stay away because of poor quality control issues. I had 2 Fueling pumps fail due to workmanship issues. I took out my Fueling pump and lifters and went back to O.E. Harley and have not sincehad a problem.

I am sure that yours is MUCH quieter than mine. I have been all in the engine in mine and it is 10 times louder than stock.
Nogood... I've used Fueling lifters in many builds and never had a problem, with lifters or pumps for that matter. I have not used them with the stock pump though.
Someone had posted something about the lifters AMS sells a while back I and I went & read about them & they sounded interesting.
During my most recent HQ build, I went ahead and got a set of the AMS lifters and they seem to be A-OK. My cams are .580 on the intake side & even w/ stock rockers, it sounds as good as most stock motors & better then many.
