While your search efforts are appreciated IMO you may be further ahead to start a new thread as opposed reopen one that was started 11 1/2 years ago. JMO.

OP, you never did say if it's fuel injected or carbureted. If it is a carb, it might be worth a look to see if the accelerator pump is working correctly.

Maybe somebody with an 06 motor can chime in. Vance and Hines makes the FP3, but it only goes back to 2007.

First post was from April in 2012. So that must mean you're from the future.

Has the MOCO solved the transfer and sumping issues yet?

My 04 does the same thing. I may go for a month without it happening, and then have it happen three times on one day.

Most typically, puttering along, especially on dirt where I'm on and off the throttle quite rapidly. It has never caused me a problem, and the bike is somewhere just south of 60k.

fwiw, mine is mechanically stock with a high flow intake filter and plate. I've no idea if it has a tune on it.

To me the same thing happens to me,
happens when the engine is hot,
the problem lies in the injection, for lack of gas.

I am learning how to use the sert to solve it.

Victor you were right. It was a crack in the in the fuel injection line inside the tank. Wasn’t holding enough fuel pressure.

Checking for an intake leak is practically free and if found and corrected, could fix your problem very inexpensively. Start with the simple stuff.
