Kidding aside, a lot of gravel forms on mountain roads at thaw and remains until mid-fall, so this is not where my tires wear out most. Highway with cruise control causes more damage IMO because only a fraction of the tire is used.

Speed = RPM x Tyre Diameter in inches / Gear Ratio / 336
