Who do most use to install new tires? Local Hd wants a little over $500 for each wheel including tires. That sounds nuts to me. I think I will try my old Yamaha Dealer. When I had a Road Star, they only charge $25.00 to install tires if you bought them there. I wonder if they would give me the same deal on my EGC

I do my own, but if you can take the wheel off, then most indy shop will install and balance a tire for $25-$30.

Well, just my luck that Cycle Gear has sold me all the tires for my latest scoot. If you buy from them, they mount and balance for $25+tax. It's like 10. more if you carry your own tire in. They only do carry ins, as they aren't equipped to remove them from a bike.
They won't sell a road warranty on tubed tires, but they do for tubeless I see theirs a location on 846 North Military Trail in West Palm.
It's still my hope of acquiring a changer stand in the near future.
My $0.02
Geting new full set of Michelin's Commander II's installed this week at a local indy for $465 + tax for BOTH tires, mounted, balance, installed. Will be right at $500 for the pair out the door. Local stealership wanted $750 + tax for the same tires...
You can save more bucks, if you order on line a set of Michelin Commander II (front and rear) with 2 day free shipping, for less than $300, then let the local indy shop install/balance both tires, for around $60.
Jackhis, I thought you were a local buddy of mine at first!
He just did this, and has been giving me $hit about it! His tires should be here Wednesday, and will have a local shop install them. He saved about $100 over what I paid, but I'm getting some other work done, Chrome wheels installed, Chrome front end installed, 35K service, so a little extra wasn't bad in my book, we all gotta eat...
Just had a rear tire put on my '11 Ultra Classic and it cost $298. This was at my local Harley Dealer. 500 is just ridiculous. I've been riding a long time and have never had a dealer charge anything even close to that for a tire replacement.
