Default Bat Wing

Ok, can somebody point me in the right direction. Does somebody know or have good instructions on how to take the bat wing apart so I can have the inner plastic piece painted to match my bike? I know somebody who will paint it, I just have to take it apart.

Ok, if that is the best resource, that's what i'll use. Has anybody done it? On a scale of 1 - 10, what kind of job is it? I am pretty mechanical and do almost all my maintenance, am just curious what I am getting myself into and how much time I can expect.

Search for this subject. Someone last year posted a step by step. I used it when I paint mine. If I find the link I will send it to you.

I would place socks on your spot lights to protect the paint.
