Tires

Anybody running tires other than the stock Dunlops as rears? I'm only getting 10 to 11 k on the D402's that came on my 04 Ultra rear. My brother runs Metzlers ME880's and is getting 20k plus on the rear of his Vulcan Classic. What size would replace the MU85B16 in a metric tire?
