Does this apply even though he said it cranks normally, just doesn't fire?
Oops, just went back and reread the initial post. Doesn't sound like he needs a new battery or has a bad ground. Maybe modee is on to something or the guys that suggested the CPS.
I done as scorpian said and disconnected the fuel line and hooked it back up and started up and runs fine, but I am goin to get new battery, thanks for the help

Folks, I've had this issue off and on over the past 9 months. The last month or so, it has gotten worse. However, all I have to do is reach down and slightly move the connector. I don't have to disconnect it, just move it ever so slightly. I'm thinking that there may be an issue with the check valve in there but would like to know more info before I dig into the problem. Any ideas?

I am not familiar with your model, but I have a question: When was the last time you replace the fuel filter?
I've got 47,000 on my 07 which I just bought used. I just put a new filter in the tank and the dealer told me to replace the internal line and check valve since they can start causing problems at this age. I think it was about $47.00 for the check valve and hose. Of course by the time you buy the filter kit and have it all installed you'll spend $125.00 anyway.
Just had the fuel filter replaced for the first time about 1500 miles ago. The problem was there before the filter replacement but has become more frequent over the last two weeks (3-4 times)
So, this is starting to happen more often. So far, it seems like every other time I get on the bike. There are no codes, and again all I have to do is reach down to the Fule line and move it. So, I'm thinking about going ahead and replacing the check valve and fuel line. The service manual says you have to remove the Fuel Ring before you remove the Check Valve. Is it really necessary to remove the console and fuel ring?
