Maybe its me, and maybe Im use to a Metric, but sometimes when Im with my Wife, Leaving from a stop. I get a rattle from the trans area? maybe Im not giving it enough gas? It doesnt seem to happen if I let the clutch out slower, My Metric would let me creep from a stop, this one seems like you need to use more of the clutch. it will also do it when Im alone but seems worse when we are both on it. like maybe Im not use to that much weight. Anyone have any ideas? Have you heard it?
Dealer thinks it the rubber mounted trans. bla bla bla
it is
tall gearing causing u to bottum out the compensator.
That what I think it is as well.
Question is how can we tell when the compensator is compensating too much? In other words, when are they wearing out? My 08 does the same thing when the wife is on back, or taking off on a hill if I don't give it just the "right" amount of throttle.....kind of an annoying rattle.
can't say for sure but ill take a guess that the comp is just under engineered, same problem here 2 up and u got to dick the rpm way up and slide the shizzle out of the clutch, its got me wanting for the se comp.
