Im going to be installing a 12" apes and thats going to make my brake line real tight. Im wanting to replace it with a cable from Magnum but Im not sure If I can replace just that line by itself, it almost looks like the whole assembly right down to the front calipers would have to be replaced. Has anyone replaced just the handlebar portion of the brake line by itself and how much longer than stock should I go for a 12" ape?
go 6+ .. front ABS upper lines are 2 lines, you will need to remover the tank also (the connection is under it) and you need the other half to run to the ABS module behind
the throttle side rear panel, I just recently put Santee 11" mini-apes and with 6+ Magnum clutch and front brake lines that was more than enough.
