Here is what I am getting: (I am not a very good wrench)

V&H Duals 1802-0110
SE Ventilator A/C
SE super Tuner 32109-08C
DYNO
I already have SE Fatshotz slip-ons

Any input and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Take you time, you may need a buddy to help you align the head pipes to the manifold. Make sure you have exhaust gaskets, the biggest pain are the heat sheilds. Try not to run it very long until you flash the ECM with the SE map or till you bring it to your tuner.

welcome. I am in Naples. I would change a few items. The OEM HD exhaust system is actually designed as a 2 into 1 with the dual being for looks. Most airflow comes out the right side and the left muffler is purposely more restrictive than the right. True Duals without a crossover take the design feature away. 2 into 1 exhaust or a 2/1/2 would give you better driveability and low end where most spend ride time. Either get a headpipe with the catalyst removed, FuelMoto pipe or Fullsac and keep the OEM mufflers if you like the dual look or get a 2 into 1. Also, look at the Heavy Breather intake for more performance and leg room. The ventilator stuck out and hit my leg while the HB angled forward and avoided my leg.

im not a big wrench myself and have been doing all the work myself. it probably takes me twice as long as a good wrench but i also take my time. also if you are going to work on your bike yourself get the service manual its a God send.

I also got the power vison instead of the sest so i didnt have to go to the stealer every time i needed to change something.

i did the folowing:
se heavy breather
v&h 2-1 high output propipe (couldnt wait for the stainless steel 2-1 from fm)
powervision from fm(dont get it from anyone else! lifetime maps)

you asked;

true dual headers have less torque than headers which are connected by a crossover or a 2 into 1.

the V&H power duals can hit hard on right turns if you bike is lowered

the ventilator will supply more air than the motor could ever use ( most do), but it makes the plastic plug and wiring on the throttle body visible ( 9 0'clock).

the ness big sucker is about $120 on ebay from easternpc. chrome backing plate matches the chrome on the motor, uses the stock cover which hides the plug and wiring

super tuner: I'd rather have something adjustable for my money.

for tuning compensation I use nightrider.com xieds about $125

Fatshots; easily tuned to emphasis torque or horsepower, replace the "security screw" and gets some discs ( if needed, or endcaps) from ebay.
