Default Chrome Handlebar Controls

I'm about to upgrade/change my bars from Heritage bars to Chubby 508's on my 2006 RKC. While I'm at it I'm going to go with braided stainless cables and hoses. With all that I'm thinking I might as well change my handlebar controls to chrome while I'm at it. I'll do the clutch bracket and master cylinder, switch housings, and hand control levers. Has anyone used aftermarket kits instead of the moco kits and if so what recommendations can you make as far as make, seller, quality, installation, etc?

Thanks,
Pete

I have Midwest brand ones in my RKC. I've had 'em 6 years. They still look great. I have put on several sets with no problems. You can get them from Cycle Supply for about 130 bucks.

Thanks for the link. I can't tell from the photo on their website, but perhaps you know.....are the switch covers for a bike with cruise? Also, do you know what the difference is between the set at the top of the page for $214 compared to what you got (besides price)?

Thanks

Using Kuryakynlevers. I think they came from Eastern Performances Ebay store. Worth every penny even though they were pretty cheap to start out with. These are like the ones I bought: http://cgi.ebay.com/KURYAKYN-LEVERS-...QQcmdZViewItem

The $214 set comes with the switches and wiring.

Neither set is has components for cruise. I'll bet you will end up being stuck with buying HD stuff to get the cruise housing.

I hope there's other alternatives out there but so far I haven't been able to find any that are for a cruise control.
