Has anyone installed a 150 Commander 2 on the rear of a 07 ultra. Were there any fitment problems? I know it's lame to obsess on a wider tire when the 140 is the direct replacement, but i want to do it anyway. I ride a lot 2-up with the bags packed. Just don't want to run into any problems.
We put 150's on 07 baggers all the time. I have the 150 commander ont eh back of my dyna as well. It is a nice tire. We'll see about that 25K mileage claim from Michelin. I have my doubts.
No. The MT 130/90, MU 140/85 and 150/80 are all pretty well the same in diameter. The 140/90 is slightly larger.
07 touring bikes have a narrower belt than previous models and have the extra space to fit a 150/80 with no problems. Getting one on earlier models is touch and go!

Hmmm, I was under the impression the 05, 06 and 07's had the same width belt (1-1/8").
When did they go to a narrower than 1-1/8" belt? If my 05 which measures 1-1/8" is wider I better stick with the 140.
the widest i know of with no mods,is a 160 e3,BUT....it is made for a 3.5 inch wheel stock 07-08 is 3 inch, part of why it fits is your pulling in the sidewall.
