Go to their website ( http://www.patriotguard.org/)And register. You should be contacted by a state level PGR representative . Then keep an eye on the website for upcoming missions. And when you see a mission "GO". The riders are great people of all walks of life doing a great service. Everyone I met was helpful and friendly, made my wife and I feel like family.
These service members families are very appreciatve of the PGR and from what I have seen they contactthe PGRasking for theus to be there. I had an elderly gentleman approach me after his friend of 60 years had been buried. He told me that he had been prepared for the funeral and that he was determined "not to lose it". But he said he wasn't ready when came around the building and saw the Flag Line that had been posted for his friend . He thanked me for what we had all done and I told him that it was I that was thanking his friend for the sevice to our country. It was impossible to not start up (with the tears) myself. Thats feeling is the best reason I say that anyone who can should join the PGR.

Semper Fi!

I went on a PGR mission today in Tucson for a fellow PGR member and retired Vet.One thing that struck me today as we made our way through Tucson on a 20 mile mile journey from the church to his home, in a procession of about 70 - 100 bikes (most flying American flags), was the number of cars that honked and waved. Patriotism is still alive in the big cities as well.

I'm proud to be part of the partiot guard as well. Nicest bunch of riders and respectful of those who have served and unfortunately fallen for our freedoms. Nice to be able to do a very very small part in honoring our men and women serving.

My fiance and I are both proud to be members of the PGR here in Ct. On sat 5/26 the PGR was invited to participate in the Lebanon Ct. Memorial day parade. They gave us such a warm welcome it could have brought a tear to your eyes. During the ceramony at town hall. They called for all Veterans to please step forward. They then passed out a single red carnation to each veteran. It made me proud to seethe pGR riders up there with the Vets from Lebanon. It was a great day for both of us. We (PGR)were the first motorcycles to take part in the parade and my fiance was the first and only female to ride her own bike. The people lining the parade route gave her a lot of encouragement.l
