Here is my story. Saw a dealer in Delaware was having a weekend event and got a few friends to ride down for the day just for something to do & the Wife saw that a certain vendor was gonna be there and wanted to go look at a specific bag for her Sporty. So we made the plans, met for breakfast and rode the 60+ miles down there. It was a beautiful Sunday after the rain cleared.
We get there and walk around. Wife says to our friends, OK we need to help Jim pick out his new bike. I had been looking and planning on a new bike a couple years from now. I had zero intention of buying a bike that day.
Well, sat down on a Road King, then an Ultra, then a Street Glide. A couple hours later, we had closed the dealership and my '98 SPortster was left behind and I was riding home my new SG!
Couldnt believe it.
Oh, and the wife didnt get her bag because they didnt have the one she liked.
