Can you add hydralic fluid in the hd shocks...I have the pressure at 32 and the ride is still rough over bumps. I installed used shocks and the ride is not smooth.
That's a little high. If I remember correctly, the book says 15psi for a solo rider and 25psi for two up. Check your owners manual or the service manual for the correct air pressure. I ride solo on mine and it has 15psi in it and it rides smooth. The newer bikes require more pressure in them.
When posting a new topic, it's best to ask at least part of the question in the title. When you say "2003 Road King" in your title, it could mean several things.
Welcome to HDF from the UK. Shocks get raised on here every week, so there are plenty of threads about the stock ones and after-market. Your original shocks had a max pressure of 20psi, but if the replacements you bought are more recent ones it is around 50psi. If the ride is rough, use lower pressures, as BigIck suggests.
Be aware stock shocks are not the best on this planet, by a long way!
