I also ride my street glide to and from work whenever possible. My office is about 70 miles from my house, so I spend a lot of time on my glide. I can tell you that so far, it's been exactly what I wanted. I say do it. I don't think you'll have any regrets.

Thanks fellas, This is the type of input I needed. I really like the Street Glide, Heck everytime I went into the shop I would spend some time looking at it, finally the owner told me to take it for a ride...thus I am sold on it. Expensive test ride, lol.
I think I will have a new scoot in the barn....

From your last post, it sounds like I'm a little late. Just wanted to tell you that 10k on a 2 yr old tourer is not bad at all. If it were a sportbike, I might ask questions but 5k/year on a touring is not bad at all.

Enjoy the new scoot!

Thanks! Yes thats what I was thinking, but I wanted to ask about it. I found out that the bike was an early 2010, made 6/09 and sold in 09...So its closer to 3 1/2 yrs old. I think the 2013's will be out in Aug/Sept...miles are really low looking at it that way.

Just curious, but what would the difference be in $ between your bike and a new 2012 SG?

New 2012's are listed at 19,499...but you know how that goes...all the prices I got are between 21k and up. So anywhere from 9500-10k.
