I've had the HD LED headlight (JW Speaker) for about 6 months now and absolutely love it except... It is VERY distracting to the cars I am following. About 80%-90% of the cars in front of me do something when I am behind them - ranges from flipping the rear view mirror up to flipping me the bird to pulling over to let me pass (yes, that has actually happened). It happens so often that when the driver doesn't do anything I notice since its so rare.
I followed the alignment instructions word-by-word ensuring it is set up correctly (something I am going to re-check now too). But, have you others with the LED noticed a large majority of drivers in front of you annoyed by your headlight?
I have the HD headlight on my SG and normally don't get any of the reactions you described. On a couple of occasions I have had folks flash their hi beams at me on dark roads away from town.

When I did mine
I followed the instructions, also and it was a little bit high for some reason. Pay attention as you come up behind a car. You will notice the license plate light up and as you move closer, the back panels on the vehicle. If you start to see the interior or the mirror light up, you're going to want to crank it down some. You are probably also not getting the full benefit of the high beam, if you're lighting up car mirrors on low, the high is going off into space. Ride a winding road with woods on each side, you'll really see what's happening with your lights.
I run an LED Headlight and passing lamps. Just remember your bike needs to be adjusted when it is laden with one or two people. If you adjust without that as soon as you mount the bike your headlight will be aimed higher from the *** end of the bike getting sacked out.
I haven't had that reaction from cars either. What I have noticed, while turning, the inside corners become dark as the line from the headlight doesn't extend into the ditch on the inside corner. I become kind of nervous that a deer might be lurking waiting to take me out. Maybe mine is set to low??

They do have that "cut off" and it does take some getting used to.
Lurking Deer...scary thought. But on the flip side if your headlight does hit them, hopefully the light hits them on the side of the road and keeps them OUT of the road...
