Smile Props to Glide Pro

I recently installed the front and rear motor mounts on my 2011SG with the Glide Pro set up. Let me say that even though Harley made vast improvements in the handling and vibration with the new frame (09'&up).
I felt the bike could be better, it still felt disconnected at hwy speeds in sweeping turns or passing big trucks...( Not as bad as the old frame, but still not right). I saw that Jake had designed a set up for the late model frame, so i decided to give it a try?

Well Jake's set up did two things! It tightened up the back end and smoothed the vibes out even more, especially around the 2000 - 2500 rpm range ( which is where the fairings seem to vibrate the most).
Also, with the back end being tighter it made me see just how bad the front suspension is! I think because the back end isn't moving around at all, it's asking the front end to hold more and because of the lack of dampening, it just cannot respond fast enough.

Ricor Intiminators and rear shocks are next ! I expect the SG will handle about as good as one can

Just wanted to share....

Good to know, I'm thinking of doing both upgrades he offers as well as even the fairing.

He's local to me in San Diego.

El Rey: I'm told from others, that his set up makes an even bigger differance on the older frames like your 05.

Jake is great to talk to and he will give you a MBG if your not happy with his product!

Good luck!
