Default Which V&H Pro Pipe?

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a high flow air cleaner by Arlen Ness, a Screaming Eagle Super Super, and a full exhaust system. I really like the the way the Pro Pipe sounds by V&H. Currently my motor is a stock 96" and was wanting input on which Pro Pipe to go with, either the regular Pro Pipe or the Pro Pipe Hi Output? Thanks

If you want black then you'll have to go with the Pro Pipe HO.
The Pro Pipe Chrome works well for mostly stock engines but I like the sound of the HO best. Plus, if you want to go big, the HO will handle large engines.

I chose the Propipe as the HO only came in black only. I love the chrome and it suits my Vivid Black FLHR beautifully. I have used this in conjunction with the SE Ventilator and SEPST. Great performance and sounds like a big block chev as it idles. I am going to add a Big City Thunder baffle to tone it down a little as my local constabulary are cracking down on loud bikes at the moment. I highly recommend the pipe. Never get sick of the sound.

I do want to go with the black pipe. Will the hi output be too much for the 96" motor?

Best source, of course, is V&H. That aside, I've read where many HO owners with 110"+ motors wish they would have went with the standard pro pipe. The HO pipe has bigger header stepping and this would probably hurt your low/mid range TQ but maybe give you a touch more HP as back pressure would be less ....

Love the sound of the HO also. Gets lots of compliments.
