I have to ask, where did you find those gear ratios at? My Tach hasn't been right since my first download with the PV
those are the calculation numbers listed in the PV. Here is the actual transmission gear ratio and the final drive ratio with stock gears. Don't think it will effect the Tach, but not sure.
Final Ratio Transmission Gear Transmission Ratio
2.875 6 1.000
3.407 5 1.185
3.999 4 1.391
4.939 3 1.718
6.650 2 2.313
9.594 1 3.337
Just wondering I went by 3 different speed radars the cops had set up around mid Mi. On all of them I set my cruse as close to 50 mph as I could, of the 3 two showed 47 and one was 48.
So with my speedo at 50 I'm really going close to 3 mph slower. So if I go 100 mph would it go to 6 mph slower or would it stay at 3? I'm thinking of going with the PV for my 14 King.

I'm betting closee to 2. And at 100 it will be 4. You are 4% off like most are.
I fixed mine with the PV. And you don't have to mess with the gear ratios, there us a speedo cal.

Thanks man, you are one of the guys on here I trust. I'm very leery of the PV but I feel with FM backing me up I can make a it work. I had a FM PV-C on my 11 King worked good but I never was nuts about the piggy back deal.
I need a head pipe,]no cat] air cleaner and turner.
I will call FM this Monday.

I appreciate that.
And I never realized how bad I suck at typing on my phone until I read what you quoted from me LOL
and where would one find this? just for s & g, i opened up my map in the winpv software and the only thing that i could even find that would remotely be this is the gear ratio table.
I believe easy to find when connected to bike , And powervision responds to email questions really fast.
JIM
4. current pulses per km = 2300
5. (2300)(0.9375) = 2156
2156 is the new value to enter in the Speedo Calibration
If this doesn't work, do gps / speedo
Been a while since I did this, but it worked.
Don't have GPS unless PV has GPS , probly have GPS on cell ??
jim
and when adjust PV speed it adjusts both the same amount , PV+ bike speedo . will not make then same speed , did mile markers today at 60mph and bike speedo was righjt on.
