I'm 6' with a 32 inseam as well.

Due to the backrest I get on and off the Ultra from the right side. I just flatfoot on the ground don't use the floor board.

Try standing on the Left floor board both while getting off and first as you try getting on... may sound silly, but it does work - just tried it... may not look all that cool - but if it helps - who the hell cares..

I am just going to assume that you are dressed correctly for riding...

If there's some extra $$$ lying around, an air ride suspension system with onboard adjust-on-the-fly air compressor might help.

I have the Hi-Low system and it helps my 29" inseam when getting on and off as well as backing the bike up.

Done with your ride? Hit the air dump button and the bike's 3 inches lower.

Mount up, hit the air button, lift to preferred height and off you go.

Several systems out there. I like minebut there are other manufacturers as well.

I don't know about getting off but to get on when the pipes are hot and you do not want to get burned you could try this method.

Stand about 15 yards behind your bike. Run as fast as you can and then jump up and place your hands on the back of the Tour Pak. Leap frog over the Tour Pak and try to fall into a sitting position with your feet on the floorboards.

Caution!!!! This method should not be used if your passenger has already mounted the bike.

I'm confused (normal for me). I'm 5'6" on a good day with a tail wind and have yet burned my leg when getting on/off. How does this happen (to burn your leg)?

And the inseam is 32". I'm 6 feet, (in the morning).
I have the 36" inseam at 6 feet so I guess thats why ihave notdone it yet. however I was wondering you stated you burned the left side, the rear pipe is set far back off the motor out of the way, how did you get into it?

My advice would be to get ri of that daggone crossover pipe and go to true duals! Helps with aesthetics, the extra heat coming from it and might save your leg a little trouble.

I burned the right side. I do like germanybert's suggestion. But then I'm back to the same problem of spreading the legs you know. I did make an appointment to see the Doc about a hip replacement. Also the suggestion on adjusting the height at a stop is interesting.
