I'm 5'9" 29" inseam. I feel your wind pain. For me an LRS 8" Flattop windshield, fairing wind deflectors, and fork baffle worked pretty well. I just added the JES Customs fork wind deflectors and now I am 80mph with a nice breeze! Your results may vary. I highly recommend LRS windshields for quality and customer service...love the Flattop.
Short jokes aside - I believe your problem is coming from under the batwing. Next time you ride put your hand below your chin & feel...probably quite a breeze coming from below fairing. Try looking at fork baffles & they should help...good luck!
I just got a SG it's my first touring bike I'm 5.5 tall with a in seam of 27 inch I put on a reach seat I have a issue with the wind almost ripping my sun glasses off at highway speeds any idea of what size windshield I should get or how to fix the issue
TIA ryan
I'm just a hair taller than you and went with the 6 inch Long Ride Shields (LRS) Ultra Curved shield. It really helped with wind turbulence and it cost much less than many others.
