to my eye, the over-all profile of the batwing bike with out tour pak is a large teardrop shape, the fairing lowers help to complete that look by filling the area between the frame and forks with body color. balancing the top and bottom.

in practice the fairing lowers are comfy and provide some storage or speaker mounts, and my testing shows my oil temps drop with the lowers on ( 105ş day).

I bought mine through an online dealer, so 20% off- I wish I could have found a used set but no luck. The ebay knock off stuff i wouldn;t bother with.
factory color matching is perfect

I add them to my EG Classic

How long was the wait from LSHD?

I got my Big Blue Pearl ones from LSHD1 as well, took about 3 weeks. They'll tell you 6 - 8 weeks, and I've read it all has to do with when HD is spraying which color in production.

I was very happy to see them so quickly.
