First post here, please move if it's in the wrong category! I bought my '05 Electra Glide last June with 4,500 miles. After Daytona I had about 11K miles on it. Once back home I noticed a rattle around 2600-3200 RPM. I tracked down the source of the rattle to the front header bracket under the transmission. Cracked clean through.
Has anyone else had this issue? I've searched endlessly for a part number. Does anyone know what the part number is? The bracket is held with 6 socket head bolts. I can get it from the dealer but I prefer to save $$ and do it myself!
