Fork Deflectors
I put a set of JesCustoms deflectors on a couple weeks ago. Service, design and function were all good. The chrome finish wasn't as good as I was hoping. There are pits and polishing marks. I believe he has a new vendor chroming them for him.
I have a set of the HD chrome fork deflectors. I've put them on then taken them off several times. The HD engines run hot, period. The air turbulence is less and the music is much better with the deflectors installed. The engine (oil temp) appears to be the same with or without the deflectors. I have an oil temp gauge so I have monitored the temp.
Headed to Sturgis in a couple of weeks and put the deflectors back on. The heat won't be an issue but I want to hear my IPod.

I have the JES Custom ones, and had the ones from the seller on Ebay, TimelessMotorcycle or something like that. The JES custom ones are a thicker metal, and have much different angles bent into them. They work much better than the Ebay ones.
I also have a Klock Werks 6.5" windshiled and a set of Hog Wings, gonna take the wings off and see if it feels the same without them. The JES Custom fork wind deflectors are hear to stay. I got the gloss black ones and the finish was very good.
