Well, Harley makes a locking latch that I and most others will tell you is junk. There is a product out there you might look into called "Clamp-it" or search on this site about just using zip ties around the releases. Those are three options or you can figure out different ways with various types of locks. I found a bicycle lock that worked good to secure the pak to my rear bar on my RK, but I can't do that on my Street Glide. I do have the "Clamp-it" but I've yet to use it.
These threads make me a little envious. You guys have so many smaller and larger speciaist retailers that you can find an aftermarket gadget for just about anything.
Also for a quick deterent just use a zip-tie around the post that the above clamps go around and it will slow down a thief about as long as the clamps above will...
