Widest Commander II for 08 SG??

Widest Commander II for 08 SG??

I'm about to have to replace my rear Dunlop E3 on my 08 SG. I got it because of the width without making mods. I'm not pleased with it at all. For one it sits too tall, and I only got about 10,000 miles out of it. The only reason I liked it was for the width. What are other tire options for me to get some width without mods. What is the widest Commander II that will fit?

tires

try metzlers or avons they make a pretty good size tire.dont know anything about dunlops just that they are a very hard tire.

I've got a 150 Pirelli Night Dragon on the back of my 08 SG but it is very close to the belt guard. 150 Metzler was supposed to be the same width but had more clearance on the guard. YMMV.

Has it ever rubbed the belt guard? Does it still sit low like the stock tire sits? What is the exact size? Would you replace it with the same tire next go round? How many miles should I be able to get out of it?Thanks
