If you read my post...I want the pipes for Rallys and biker events only! Out of respect for my neighbors...I bought MO's...thats all I have! I didn't ask for a lecture on freedoms, rights, and privilages. I get that...trust me....I do. After living in the Mid East for 6 years...I get it.
If I didn't know what I wanted, I think I'd go to bike night & hear a few pipes before I bought something I've never heard. It'll be a whole lot cheaper too, than taking advice from a forum, and later on, hearing something you like better. (Some guys here really liked pipes that I hated when I heard them.) That's what I did, but I found what I wanted at a dealership on a nice Saturday morning, a few years ago. I asked people to fire it up for me, and once I heard what I liked, I said "that's what I want right there."

My favorite pipes would be Rineharts 4" slip on's...just can't afford them right now. I love my MO's...please don't get me wrong. But they were designed not to be modified....the baffles are NOT removable unless you damage the pipe.
Someone suggested gutting stock pipes...which I have a sourse for now. Thank you!
I don't get enough attention in my life, so I'm going to be obnoxious and run a big loud ghetto pipe. Maybe get one of those helmet Mohawks and run pink tassels on my handle bars also.

Jeez you guys...
What exactly do you get? I didn't ask for people to jeopardize freedoms, rights, and privileges I enjoy. You get that??
Believe it or not, you can be respectful of others OUTSIDE of your neighborhood... even works at biker events/rallies!
I think DohaDex (after serving his country for 22 year in the Airforce) and myself (Marine with 10 years and 6 deployments) know a little bit about freedoms. Just because you have loud pipes doesnt mean you have to go screaming into your neighborhood revving the motor and doing burnouts at 3am. My bike is loud and that is how I like it if you dont like loud pipes then dont put them on your bike.

As for being "not so bright" I think you should know a person before passing judgement. I think of myself as very bright, in fact, at the end of August I will start grad school at one of the highest ranked engineering schools in the country. But you are probably right there is no way that me or anyone with loud pipes is bright.

So you understand that freedoms are **** on by people that feel entitled to do whatever the hell they want, with no regard to the circumstances - right? I absolutely love the sound of a aftermarket exhaust that a bike has been tuned for. Somebody just running straight pipes just to make as much noise as possible is super douchey, and is what will keep people from having the privilege of running any kind of aftermarket exhaust in the future.
